The University of Birmingham, in collaboration with DeepMind, is pleased to announce the DeepMind Scholarship 2024. This exciting opportunity is open to EU/non-European and UK nationals who wish to pursue an MSc in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Birmingham’s Computer Science Department. Applications are now being accepted for this prestigious scholarship program.

Scholarship Awards

The DeepMind Scholarship offers two types of awards: one for International students and one for UK students.

International Scholarship

The total value of the International Scholarship is £56,525, which covers:

  • Tuition Fees: £31,410
  • Living Costs: £19,345
  • Attendance at International Conferences: £2,200
  • Equipment Purchases (e.g., laptops): £1,700
  • Relocation Expenses: £1,870

UK Scholarship

The total value of the UK Scholarship is £34,225, which covers:

  • Tuition Fees: £11,340
  • Maintenance/Living Costs: £18,985
  • Attendance at International Conferences: £2,200
  • Equipment Purchases: £1,700

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the DeepMind Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Gender: Female students are encouraged to apply.
  • Nationality: Applicants must be EU, Non-EU, or UK nationals.
  • Offer: Must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study the MSc in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence at the University of Birmingham.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate that they cannot secure admission without financial assistance.

Note: The scholarship is exclusively offered for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

How to Apply

To be considered for the DeepMind Scholarship, follow these steps:

  1. Secure an Offer: Obtain a conditional or unconditional offer for the MSc in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence at the University of Birmingham.
  2. Scholarship Application: Once you have an offer letter, you will receive a scholarship application link via email.
